- 105TimMarshfield, Wisconsin“Nice hotel”ReviewedMarch 23, 2015Trip type:CouplesStaff was friendly, rooms were clean, Orchard restaurant has good food, nothing really spectacular that stand out over other higher end hotel. I did chuckle on how the maid service staff made a neat little shirt design from a wash cloth and laid our tooth brushes on it. My wife and I were satisfied with the hotel.StayedMarch 2015Review collected in partnership with this hotelMarch 25, 2015Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write about your experience. - Kevin EBrillion, United States“Room and Buffet issues”ReviewedMarch 23, 2015Trip type:CouplesWe stayed for a seminar held by Weekend to Remember. I had booked the room online as the reviews and pictures were good. When we arrived the staff was great but when we got up to our room, it was like the had turned a maintenance closet into a rentable space. A view of gravel and AC units on the second floor. A romantic getaway and you don't want to stay in the room. The buffet food at The Orchard was cold and flavorless. The Clubhouse was great though.StayedMarch 2015Review collected in partnership with this hotel
- Sarah PSpencer, United States“Customer Service lacking”ReviewedMarch 23, 2015Trip type:CouplesOur bed was the best part about this stay. We got charged for the installation of a refrigerator that turned our cream in to butter and froze the rest of our food. The hot tub was either broke or completely overfull the entire time, meaning we didn't get a chance to use it at all. The pool was out of order half the time, although the water was definitely a nice temperature and didn't overpower you with chlorine. The bathroom door swings inward, smacking you every time you try to turn around in the tiny room. The bathtub was nothing to be amazed about and our king sized room was all bed...not much room for anything else. There is no continental breakfast, but you have a variety of overpriced restaurants and bars or you can pay a HUGE gratuity to have mediocre food delivered to your room. The chairs for the conference were very uncomfortable especially since we were sitting for a good portion of the weekend. We did complain about the fridge and fortunately got our money back. The hotel itself was really clean, so that was a bonus. The housekeeping staff were polite and helpful. We paid cash for our room though and they acted like they'd never seen bills instead of credit cards, so it took a little while for them to figure out how to manage our payment. Nothing too big, but when you are holding a lot of heavy bags, it gets to be a bit tiresome.StayedMarch 2015Review collected in partnership with this hotel
