At Christmas, the hotel employees voluntarily give one or more gifts to the children of Amiguitos Royal; these children additionally receive other gifts from the hotel.

The Radisson Royal Hotel supports the Colombian Junior Achievement Foundation through its Partners for a Day Program. Guests are encouraged to participate in the environmental programs of the hotel.
There is a formal system that gives guests the option to reuse linens and towels instead of replacing them daily.
Guests are advised to specific ways they can reduce their environmental impact during their stay.

Guests are asked their opinion on ways to improve environmental performance.
The amenities in guest rooms are biodegradable and contain natural ingredients.
Plastic bags for laundry, shoes, newspaper and waste are biodegradable.

We have a programmable power management system which automatically controls the temperature in rooms, both occupied and unoccupied.

Reusable cloth napkins replace disposable paper napkins.
The environmental policies and programs are communicated to meeting planners before and during the events.

Energy levels are reduced through the installation of energy-saving bulbs.

The energy levels are reduced through the installation of water-saving devices in the sub power station, installation of energy saving light bulbs and motion sensors.

PURCHASING
When appropriate, products are purchased in bulk to reduce the cost price, packaging and disposal.
