This October event is the largest indoor multi-breed horse show in the country. More than 1,400 of the best jumpers and riders in all of the United States and Canada contend for one of only 10 prized National Championship Awards. Plenty of additional activities are provided, including "Therapeutic Riding" for riders with disabilities, "Hunt Night," which challenges skills for hunt / jump riders, and "The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride," where 32 matched horses perform a choreographed program. The festival includes beers from over 50 breweries, giving the opportunity to sample different brews. There will be live music playing during each of the two sessions, and food concessions will also be available. Be sure to grab tickets quickly, as the event usually sells out.

Every year, the city hosts the Spring Egg Hunt, an exciting Easter egg hunt for children ages 3 to 10. Adding to fun are a visit from the Easter Bunny and other special guests, pony rides, a Bunny Petting Zoo, a face-painting booth and a variety of prizes.
