A tradition for over 30 years, this craft fair, the largest in the Caribbean, also features a singing contest, rides for the children and plenty of local food and drinks. Over 145 artisans show their wares on the first and second Sundays of each December. The fair is held on an 11-acre section of the Bacardi Rum Distillery property and admission is free. Additional booths spill over outside the grounds.

Artisans sell their sculptures and paintings while puppeteers stage shows for the little ones and famous musicians and dance troupes mesmerize the onlookers.

Musicians from around the world travel to San Juan to take part in the tribute, led by the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, which was founded by Casals.
