About Corpus Christi

Located on the Gulf of Mexico and boasting warm temperatures year-round , Corpus Christi is an ideal vacation spot or "snow bird" destination. The city, sheltered behind lovely barrier islands, is the largest along the Texas coast, whose miles of stunning shoreline are perfect for sunbathing or bird-watching. Padre Island National Seashore, just a few miles southeast of the city, is the area's most treasured natural gem. It includes more than 133,000 acres of undeveloped barrier islands. Corpus Christi's marina and downtown area bustle with energy. Shops, clubs, and restaurants line Water, Shoreline, and Chaparral Streets, while the marina offers boat rentals and beautiful views.
