Although there can be a line on weekend evenings, you can pass the time considering which of the 40-some imports and microbrews you'll try once inside. Culled from around the world, the selection is awesome, and servers are well-informed about the stock. These days, the place is a well-loved country-and-western club, marked by trees rising from the floor, a menagerie of stuffed animals (real, not toy), and an elaborate, Victorian mahogany bar. Live music is frequent on weekend nights, and although it's usually country, you can also expect to hear rock, reggae, and blues. A large wooden dance floor invites folks to kick up their heels, and there are also karaoke nights, football-watching Sundays, DJs, and drink specials. A must-visit chunk of local color.
