Pet Policy at the Radisson Resort Hecla We welcome pets with our Very Important Pet (VIP) program. Why leave your furry family member behind when traveling to an island paradise? Your pet will enjoy miles of sandy beaches, lush forests and a backyard that spans miles.
Our 14 designated pet-friendly guest rooms are available as Superior guest rooms and Suites and are located near exits and feature wood laminate flooring. At check-in, your pet will receive a welcome gift with the following items, designated for either a dog or cat:
Pet treats
Stainless steel treat bowl
Disposable clean-up bags
Pet registration card
Plush pet beds are also available

There is a one-time $35.00 service fee charged per pet, per stay, which is for a deep clean of the guest room/villa after departure.
One pet per guest room/villa, unless permission of management has been granted for more.
All pets, large or small, must be kept on a leash at all times in all public areas.
Pets are to be kept quiet in order to not disturb other guests.
Pets are to be kept off all furniture, including beds.
Excessive shedding and dirty or wet pets are to be kept out of the guest rooms. Pet towels are available from our Housekeeping Department to dry and clean your pet.
Pets are never to be left alone in your guest room/villa. If you plan an outing without your pet, please make alternate arrangements. You may contact Guest Services for more information.
We recommend that a kennel be brought with you in case you have to leave your pet unattended. Pets must be placed in their kennel if left in guest room.
Only small to medium cats and dogs are allowed, weighing no more than 50 lbs.
Hecla/Grindstone Provincial Park has a poop and scoop by-law, so please ensure to pick up after your pet (small bags may be obtained from the Front Desk).
An additional fee will be levied on your credit card if, after checkout, our Housekeeping Team discovers improper condition to the guest room/villa or if extraordinary cleaning is required to meet our cleanliness standards. You will be liable for any damages and repairs other than normal wear and tear. Any noise complaints that result in refunds to other guests will be charged to the pet guests’ room(s).
