From the time my daughter, Vanessa Shirley, and her fiancé, Jonathan Eisch, contacted you about hosting their Wedding Reception on June 4th, 2010, to when the actual event took place, you were always professional, courteous, helpful and ready to go outside the box to help them achieve their dream garden wedding reception.
From the hanging of the Chinese lanterns, the placement of the candy garden, the making of bows, the rose napkins with the wedding bell favors nestling inside, the dove candy strewn about on the tables, the vases readied for the head table and the bouquets to nestle inside, the music CD’s placed on each table, the table decorations handled the way Jon and Vanessa requested, from each little detail, you were there to ensure that it always was done to ensure that Jon and Vanessa would remember this special day with nothing but fond memories.
Judy, you were there to greet the farmer delivering the flowers. You were there to greet the person delivering the wedding cake. You were there to help the disc jockey set up. You were there when the wedding party had yet to arrive to ensure the guests had a great time and all their needs were met. Judy, you took the time to put the Welcome Gifts in the guest rooms. You were there in ways that I am probably failing to mention. So thank you.
Your serving staff was incredibly patient and helpful. If a guest had a special request, they were there to ensure it was handled quickly, efficiently and with a smile. Judy, you were always around – ready at a moment’s notice to help out.

From the moment we met you, Judy, we felt ease. You were both personable and professional which made it easy to trust you with one of the most important days of our lives. Your expertise and experience coordinating big events was evident throughout the time we worked with you. You were quick to respond to our emails (and Vanessa’s mother’s) and you never seemed bothered by our ongoing questions or requests.
You worked diligently with us to ensure every detail happened exactly as we envisioned it. From hanging a few dozen paper lanterns from the ceiling to filling the room with the romantic glow of candles, you and the staff at the Radisson helped created our “dream reception.” We will never forget how beautiful the room looked when we walked into the banquet hall for the first time after our ceremony. It was breathtaking. Every detail was perfect and even better than we had imagined it. The centerpieces looked amazing and the food was incredible. It wasn't a matter of fitting our wedding image into a standard package that they determined; it was more of a partnership in using their services and facilities to shape the wedding that fit our vision and budget. Basie's was a perfect choice for our rehearsal dinner, and having everything in a central, easy-to-find location helped simplify the logistics for our out-of-town guests.
