H Distinction
Superior Hygiene Standards at the Radisson Hotel FlamingosThe "H" Distinction refers to hygiene, confidence and security in food handling. This program began in 1988 and started operations in 1990.
The "H" Distinction requirements are:
- 80% of operational personnel and 100% of middle commands must be trained through the "Hygienic Handling of Food" course, given by instructors approved by the Secretary of Tourism
- All food hygiene requirements defined by Mexican rule NMX-F-605-NORMEX-2000 must be fulfilled

- Refrigeration and freezing chambers control
- Area of kitchen
- Food preparation
- Service area
- Water and ice
- Sanitary services for employees
- Sweeping handling
