Held each summer for well over a hundred years, this county fair pulls in more than a million visitors annually. It's a fantastic, family-friendly event, rife with wholesome fun and entertainment. Livestock and agricultural competitions are a mainstay, but you'll also thrill to find carnival rides, concerts, rodeo events, midway games, a demolition derby, a petting zoo, and more. Lots of tasty food is available, just as you'd expect, and special attractions include performances by acrobat troupes and comedy groups, not to mention Mexican-style wrestling.

Activities are expectedly centered around his classic songs, and some folks perform for the crowds, decked out in their Elvis garb of choice. Vessels of all shapes, sizes, and price-points are decked out lovingly with lights and decorations and then sail a 14-mile circuit from Collins Island. More than a million people catch the impressive sight from public and private terrain, and many dedicated homeowners along the water also outfit their residences in similar holiday style, creating a unity of color and nighttime magic.
