The holiday season is a time of gratitude for what we have: food, shelter and family. It is also a time for sharing with those in need. This year, the need has become a reality for an increased number of families everywhere, including right here in the Quad Cities. We feel this is an important and necessary time to join in the spirit of sharing and helping to make sure those children in need receive the message of hope this Christmas.

From November 2 to December 13, 2009, the Radisson Quad City Plaza is offering a very special "Toys for Tots Benefit" rate.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Our Toys for Tots benefit rate is $79.99. For each room night booked at the benefit rate, the Radisson Quad City Plaza will donate $10 to the Quad Cities - Marine Toys for Tots Program. Additionally, bring in a new, unwrapped toy between November 2nd and December 13th and breakfast for two will be included in the benefit rate.
