Plimoth Plantation is pleased to announce special programming for the week of April vacation. Most programs are free with museum admission. April vacation at Plimoth Plantation is a not-to-be-missed week of crafts, activities, workshops and talks. Children can even dress up as Pilgrims. The week-long celebration concludes with Herring Run Festival at the Plimoth Grist Mill on Saturday, April 26th.

Come for a special screening event of select cuts from the three-part film series on River Herring Migration by filmmaker Shervin Arya, followed by a panel discussion of wildlife experts moderated by WCAI’s Steve Junker. This soon-to-be-released film is being shown as part of Plimoth Plantation’s two-day Herring Run Festival which begins the following day, Saturday, April 26th at Plimoth Grist Mill.

5th Annual Mayflower Brewing Open House

In honor of American Craft Beer Week, you can enjoy the 5th Annual Mayflower Brewing Open House. Come for a fun afternoon of beer, food and live music! Local restaurants, Nosh Tavern out of Plymouth and British Beer Company out of Cedarville, will have delicious fare for purchase. Tours of the brewery will be provided and there will be pints and half pints available for purchase as well, including the first batch of this year's Mayflower Summer Rye Ale.
