“For a hotel that hosts a lot of weddings, not so great....”

Overall, the stay was okay. Hotel is a little dated but the location is excellent. It makes up for some of the decor. We were hosting a wedding. My biggest complaint was that we were told by the say staff that we could bring in pizzas and congregate on the 3rd floor in a certain area after the wedding was over. When the pizzas were delivered, the night staff told us this was unacceptable. It was extremely annoying. I understand they have policies but if it's unacceptable, it should have been stated up front. They do a ton of wedding business (there were three that weekend) Wedding parties are there to have fun and yes, they can be loud. While were were there the cops were called on another party where individuals were assaulting eachother so we weren't the worst! I would suggest they try and cater a little more to larger groups or they shouldn't offer room blocks for weddings. Offering a room (even with a charge) that is situated away from rooms and is a little more cound proof would go away. Some of my guests also had a bad experience with the woman we blocked the rooms with, Amy. They said she was quite unpleasant. Some were so turned off they stayed somewhere else. On the flip side, I went there a few weeks before the ceremony to ask about wedding bags. There were two women at the front desk that were unbelievely friendly.
