I stayed at the end closest to the housing development next door. My room was quiet. (anita w)

people with pets are given rooms on the 1st floor. if you do not want to hear occasional barking, pick the 2nd floor. (Eran G)

If you want a rather larger room, the ones right in front of the elevators are the biggest, though there is the noise problem with the elevator going up and down.
Logically, the rooms more down the hallway are quieter, but I have no idea how big they are. (Mary G)

If you don't want to be bothered by pet noises or smells, ask for a room that is NOT on the first floor. (Saratoga_Pixie)

“Nice rooms, excellent service, clean”

This hotel in Rochester, NY, was in a central location near the airport but it was quiet and it was also close to RIT and shopping. I stayed for business and I enjoyed my trip. There was always a clean bathroom, soap, bed made and coffee and mini fridge was nice. They had coffee and breakfast snacks in the lobby in the morning which is all that I need for breakfast and cookies and coffee in the afternoon. Nice place to stay if you are visiting Rochester, NY.
