“Nice place but beware of renovation”

Staff was generally nice but a couple got less pleasant when confronted with fixing (their) problems (we did get compensated fairly for our discomfort). Parts of the third floor are under renovation and staff does not make you aware of the fact. Expect hammers and power tools from 7:30am onward. Ask for a room in another section of the hotel and then cross your fingers. You pay a little more for a nicer fourth floor, which includes some better furnishings, a frig/microwave, and free breakfast buffet; however, you only get one breakfast voucher per room, regardless of how many are staying in that room. Parking is ample and free. They have a couple shuttle vehicles (van and small bus). There is a nice coffee/baked goods counter in the lobby - expect to pay for everything. There is a nice indoor pool, steam room, and rather large hot tub; however, the hot tub is barely warm and there are only a few jets for your back, nothing else. Overall, this is a decent place that lacks all those special touches that would make it great. The best thing I can say about this place is that they have awesome pillows. I know that is relative to each person's tastes, but my wife and I are on opposite ends of that spectrum and we both liked them a lot.

Newly remodeled rooms and halls. Has the best restaurant in Roseville with Axel's. All that being said, the pool, while older, is a very large enjoyable area. You can actually swim in the large whirlpool if you are there alone. I just wish they still had the Sleep Number Bed.

I experienced the most delightful staff at your hotel, all were extremely helpful with directing me to the continuing education center at the St Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. Instructions were "SPOT ON!

“The bed was a cloud and I was in heaven”

I fell into this bed and felt like I was on a cloud. Best hotel bed I've ever slept in...and there weren't any bed bugs! Room was clean, desk chair was comfortable, as was the sofa. Only criticism I would have is the low water pressure. Overall, one of the better hotels I have been in and was a very reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks to all the wonderful employees.
