My stay at this hotel has made me rethink the Radisson experience. With holes in the shower, and a broken bed I would have rated my experience near a Motel 6. I do not see myself staying here again. The carpet in the hotel halls look like something from the 70s.

The Radisson Salt Lake was great. Efficient check-in process, I wasn't a Club Carlson member and they quickly signed me up. Very comfortable and spacious room, nicely appointed, and great restaurant with excellent food and service (we were a group of 9 and they put 2-servers at our table). Fast efficient check-out. Loved the underground parking in the winter.

First things first. Checkin. Price is all over the place when you check all the various sites but when I booked my reservation in Nov 2014 full price was between $140 and $150. So if you don't get a discount that's what you pay, plus $50/night deposit in case you order room service or something, all charged to your card when you check in. If you plan on paying with a debit card you need to keep that in mind. Second is really a major sore spot for me. Many hotels offer free breakfast with your stay. Not Radisson. $12. I found that insane. In addition the restaurant is very high priced as is the small cafe across the street. There is a Denny's down the road about .7 miles and other fast food places. At first I thought they didn't have a hair dryer in the room but after 2 days I discovered they hide it in a little black bag in the closet. I thought that was nuts. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nice but I found the adjustable air mattresses very uncomfortable. Personally I would find another hotel if I ever go back.
