    First, the high points: our room was nicely appointed, and the staff was excellent, particularly at the front desk. I've seen others complain about the neighborhood, but I found it to be typical of a city. We walked all over and it was fine. Unfortunately, our stay was a little disappointing. The pool was frigid and the hot tub room temperature. Disappointing to find we couldn't swim. I understand it's early April, but don't advertise a pool if you can't swim in it! I didn't have a room service menu, so I went to the restaurant to ask if I could take it to the room. They tried to charge me the room service fee until I objected I was taking it there myself. They gave me a room service menu to take back with me, but then took it back. I suspect some of this was due to a language barrier, but they kept using English even though I speak Spanish and tried to switch. I don't know. It was frustrating. On-call cab service was pricey. It cost about twice as much to take their cab to a restaurant as it did to take a random one back. Not OK. I was choosing between several high-class hotels in the city, and selected this one for the Radisson name over local options. I wish I'd chosen differently. It wasn't a bad stay--we were comfortable--but was rather disappointing for the star rating and cost.
