The smooth sounds of jazz resound throughout the city during the annual, wildly popular SaskTel Jazz festival. Musicians stage free concerts in parks, streets and malls to whet the public appetite for afternoon and evening concerts held in a variety of venues all around Saskatoon. The city's clubs and lounges also get in on the act by offering late night music. Over 500 local and international musicians play an assortment of jazz styles during approximately 200 concerts over the 10-day period.
