    Great proximity to airport. Only there one night as flight out next morning was early. Returned rental car the evening before and was able to walk back to hotel from the airport rental car return area. Prompt shuttle/courtesy to airport.

    Nice rooms and pleasant staff make it ideal for getting on an early flight in the morning. The shuttle leaves whenever you are ready with your bags. This hotel is clean and is next door to the Legal Seafood restaurant which makes lunch or dinner choices very easy!

    I will start with the pros: we were upgraded to a sizeable and comfortable suite with a comfortable bed and pillows. But overall, unfortunately this property belies both the reputation of Radisson Hotels as well as the fine institution that Johnson & Whales is. The property is in poor condition, badly in need of a renovation, the room and the corridor were humid and dank for most of our stay. Coming from Florida I’m accustomed to much more humidity than I experienced in RI and most hotels aren’t like this in Florida so I am unsure of the source of the problem but it was very unpleasant to put on a shirt that had been in the closet for a few days and feel like it was wet, or sit and place a hand on the bed cover and feel wet and walk around barefoot (which I suppose is ill advised) and feel a wet floor! It feels like management is non-existent, both times I asked to speak with management I was told they had left for the day! Even though one of those times was in the AM! Repeated requests for repairs were pleasantly and condescendingly received, but yielded no actual results. For example, after complaining for most of the week about the non-working safe, less than 24-hours before checking out we received a message that they would have fixed it that day had we not had the Do Not Disturb on the door! Common sense would dictate that if we were looking to use the safe all week, fixing it for our last night’s stay in the hotel prior to checking out next day would not do us much good! It feels like the hotel uses the fact that it is run by mostly foreign students as an excuse to provide poor service, lack of training and make no effort to understand guests’ needs. The hotel also fails to provide the usual policy folder explaining policies like check out, phone use, location of facilities on the property etc., even upon request! Another annoying thing is that when asked to have something brought to the room it was explained that the hotel has a policy of not entering guests’ rooms unless they are present! Not only does this sound ridiculous but makes no sense otherwise the rooms would ever get serviced! This and other interaction with the staff prizes being correct and doing as little as possible over customer service. I frankly fail to see how Radisson Corp feels that this property meets Radisson Hotel standards, I would think it would be hard pressed to meet Country Inn & Suites standards! In short, in spite of preferring to stay at Radisson properties this is an experience I won’t repeat during subsequent trips to RI for as long as I remember it.
