    Capable of accommodating as many as 3,000 people, the Fargo Civic Center is one of the city’s go-to venues for community events, concerts, basketball games and more. You can reach the Civic Center using the covered skyway.

  • Jeff Johnson Soccer Complex (1.5 miles) 
    This three-field soccer complex includes two lit game fields and additional green space for youth and adult practice. The complex also includes playground equipment and a small picnic shelter.

  • Sanford Health Athletic Complex (SHAC) (2.2 miles)
  • Built in November 2016, the SHAC is home to the Scheel’s Center and Nodak Basketball Performance Center on the NDSU campus. With seating for 5,700, it’s the perfect location to watch the NDSU wrestling matches and the men’s and women’s basketball games.

  • Moorhead Sports Center (2.4 miles) 
    Moorhead Sports Center showcases an indoor ice skating rink, which is open year-round.

  • Fargodome (2.5 miles)
    From ice shows and sporting events to concerts by international superstars, the Fargodome hosts a wide variety of events on the North Dakota State University campus.

  • Newman Outdoor Field (2.5 miles)
    Meet Hawkeye and cheer on the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks baseball team. Newman Outdoor field is also home to the Fargo Blues Festival and NDSU Baseball.

  • Centennial Athletic Complex (3.1 miles) 
    This athletic complex is a multi-sport facility owned by Moorhead Parks & Recreation. This complex is mostly used for softball, baseball and football.

  • Scheels Arena (3.2 miles)
    Watch the Fargo Force hockey team battle their opponents, or catch a live concert at this 5,000-seat arena.

  • Pepsi Soccer Complex (4.1 miles)
    One of the premier soccer complexes in the Fargo-Moorhead area, the Pepsi Soccer Complex offers 11 full-sized fields, including two lighted fields. Several youth tournaments are held here throughout the soccer season.

  • ND Horse Park (6.6 miles)
    Nicknamed the Little Track on the Prairie, the ND Horse Park hosts an eight-day meet from mid-July to the end of the month. The facility serves nearly 20,000 fans every season.

  • North Softball Complex (7.4 miles) 
    This complex is a base for recreational softball, featuring an eight-diamond championship ring with four fastpitch fields and four slow pitch fields, plus a five-diamond pod of slow pitch fields.

  • Red River Valley Speedway (7.6 miles)
    Featuring races from the beginning of May to the end of August, Red River Valley Speedway is a great nightly destination for summer fun in West Fargo.

  • Buffalo River Race Park (13.6 miles)
    2018 marks the 63rd consecutive year of weekly auto racing at Buffalo River Race Park. Most races take place on Sunday nights from May through August.

  • El Zagal Par 3 Golf Course (1.5 miles)
    Located near the Red River, the El Zagal public golf course boasts a new pro shop and open fairways and is the only golf course in Fargo to host FootGolf.

  • Fargo Country Club (3.2 miles) 
    This is a members-only golf course with 18 holes, a family-friendly nine-hole executive course and a full-service practice facility complete with a full-length driving range, two putting greens, short game areas and a 128-yard 19th hole.

  • The Meadows (3.6 miles) 
    The Meadows is unique in that the course has no trees. The course is complete with mounding, tall prairie grasses, wildflowers, bunkers, a hidden creek and prevailing winds, which give the golfer the feeling they are transported to a far off Scottish links course.

  • Prairiewood Golf Course (3.7 miles)
    This golf course is known for its stunning water features and has nine holes, making it the perfect location for a short game of golf. Prairewood is ranked a three on the difficulty scale, which is perfect for intermediate golfers.

  • Edgewood Golf Course (4.2 miles) 
    Edgewood is an 18-hole, 71 par golf course and is claimed to be Fargo’s most prestigious course. This course is ranked a five on the difficulty scale, making it the ideal course for advanced golfers.

  • Village Green Golf Course (4.9 miles) 
    Village Green offers a complete and enjoyable golfing experience with a full 18 holes and one of the area’s biggest and best practice facilities, including a full driving range, putting green and short game area.

  • Rose Creek Golf Course (5.8 miles)
    Rose Creek is a golf course for advanced players and features a brand new driving range and back nine holes.

  • Osgood Golf Course (9.2 miles) 
    Located in South Fargo, Osgood has a lot to offer. This course features nine holes, an additional three-hole loop, five tee box options, a driving range, practice putting green, as well as a practice chipping, pitching and sand area.

  • Maple River Golf Club (16.5 miles) 
    Maple River Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Mapleton, ND. It is open to members as well as non-members and is a great course for both the tournament golfer and first-timer.

  • Oxbow Country Club (19.5 miles)
    Located in Oxbow, ND, this member-only golf course is undergoing a 3-year renovation with the newest portion of the course opening in 2019. The practice facilities at Oxbow are some of the best in the region and include six target greens, a practice bunker, short game practice area and a 6,000-square-foot putting green.

  • Cottonwood Golf Club (25.1 miles) 
    Cottonwood is a nine-hole course located in Casselton, ND and is designed for golfers of all age and abilities.

    This course offers nine holes and is located in Barnesville, MN along the Whiskey Creek. Willow Creek features one of the most well maintained municipal golf courses around and offers economical green fees.
