Boudhanath Stupa – This sacred destination about seven kilometres from the hotel has become one of Nepal’s most recognised sights. From the huge mandala to the 108 sculptures that surround the base of the temple, each architectural feature is full of Buddhist symbolism.
Pashupatinath Temple – Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River about three kilometres away, this Hindu temple is dedicated to the god Shiva. Silver-plated doors and a two-storey roof overlaid with gold create a dramatic shell for the exotic sculptures and decorations inside.
Thamel – One of Kathmandu’s most popular streets, Thamel is teeming with local boutiques, restaurants, bars and live music. You can easily walk or drive to this colourful tourist destination thanks to our hotel’s location about one and a half kilometres away.
