If you get a room facing the pool then you also have the afternoon sun on your windows which may make the room hotter despite the a/c. (scud56)

This was our first time with Radisson. I don’t think I will recommend Radisson, Khajuraho to anyone. We were two adults & a kid 2.5 years old. I observed that even the basic things were missing. The AC overall was weak. In the room, it was somehow manageable but in the common areas where people sit, play pool, carrom etc., it was pathetic. I was sweating the whole time. The reason management gave is that it’s a big area & doors are opening closing again & again. I think that happens in all renowned hotels, doesn’t it? And there was a double door to create air column between the main door & inner door. Still they couldn’t cool it. The ladies washroom next to this recreation area was ill-maintained. One toilet was not flushed properly. The other had a broken lock. Still I used it & later realized that there was no water in the hand shower. Thank God there was toilet paper. There was no sign board outside to warn the guests. Service especially in the restaurant was not up to the mark. The waiters’ attitude was not admirable or customer friendly. The staff did not appear trained as there was no uniformity in service. My kid didn’t eat anything. So, after dinner I requested for a cup of milk. There was some unpleasant reaction on the waiter’s face. Usually in hospitality, staff makes an extra effort & offers things to small kids & tries to make them comfortable. At the reception, once I asked for a duplicate key to my room as our key was with my husband & I had to go to the room to attend to my kid’s needs. They clearly refused saying that they don’t have another key. Though they obviously had & later another person gave it to me.
