There were feces and urine in my bed, I have pictures . I am sure it was a disgruntled employee or customer. It was covered with a towel and the bed was made up. So only seen when the covers were pulled back. Grossest thing I have seen in a hotel. Being an manager in fortune 500 company and owning a business of my own, I get crap happens. Excuse the pun. My issue is I never got contacted by hotel management. The front desk person was apologetic switched rooms offered me something asked if it was OK it was late, I said OK. I just wanted him to leave and get to bed. This was a big big deal to me. I almost laid in that stuff. The hotels management lack of response to me makes it appear this may not be out of the norm for this hotel. I've gotten call for much less at other hotels. After that the little things started to tick me off. Like not being able to open my ocean front glass door all the way and without using all the strength I had. They just need to replace the rollers. I am 6 feet 220 lbs in good shape and struggled. The toilet paper holder mounts were too far apart so every time you pulled tissue the roll fell to the floor. I gave up after the third try just left tissue roll on the sink. They advertise buffet breakfast but was not available the next morning. Anyway I can honestly say I was just expecting a call or a note and I would have let this go. I am diamond member with Hilton and Platinum with Marriott, so I travel a lot. Although they were renovating, the staff was wonderful to deal with and very accommodating. The room was fresh an new with a tremendous ocean view.
