- jodyj94KANSAS CITY, United States“Horrible Experience Worst Hotel Ever review by jodyj94 from KANSAS CITY, United States”ReviewedAugust 14, 2017Trip type:FamilyHorrible guest service. Front staff with colored hair looked like they just crawled out from under a rock. Rude. Bartender was very rude. Roaches in my room and when we pulled out sleeper couch was full of candy wrappers. Very disgusting place. Antiquated and run down. Carpet wasn't even stretched in our room. Very very very very disappointing.StayedAugust 2017Review collected in partnership with this hotelAugust 15, 2017We apologize you were not satisfied with the condition of the hotel during your stay. The Food and Beverage Manager has been informed about the poor level of service you received from the Bartender and will be addressing your comments concerning her department. The Executive House Keeper has also been made aware of your recent stay and the condition of your suite so she can make sure that ALL of our suites are up to Radisson standard. We appreciate you taking the time share your experience. Your comments are valued, and your suggestions will be used to consider improvements in the future.
- 259bernadettesOrlando, United States“Come for the view stay for the way the staff treats you review by 259bernadettes from Orlando, United States”ReviewedAugust 10, 2017Trip type:CouplesSome of our favorite things about this hotel as there are too many to list: The view: every room is a two room suite with double sliding glass doors and a large balcony overlooking the Atlantic. We spend most of the day listening to the surf and enjoying the view. The beach is not very crowded. Even on Holiday weekends it is never difficult to find a place just outside the hotel big enough for a blanket. There are surfers, people fishing, we even see windsurfers. The wildlife: We often see dolphins frolicking in the ocean from our room. We watch the pelicans, seagulls and hawks as they fish in the ocean and fly by our room. We like the 10th floor as the birds fly at or above that level. Being recognized as Club Carlson Gold Members: When they can they upgrade us to a higher floor. There is always a gift basket waiting upon our arrival. It is lovely to be thought of as a treasured guest. One of the many reasons we keep coming back. Housekeeping: We always request the 10th floor because it is Rosa’s floor. She takes very good care of us. Because we enjoy sitting out on the balcony we often do not leave the room until 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM. Rosa never minds cleaning the room that late and she never bothers us with a call to see when we want service. She respects our do not disturb sign. She was off one day last week and housekeeping called to ask wheat time we wanted the room made up. When she saw us the next day she apologized and made sure that everyone knew not to call us, that we will request service when we are ready. I have never staid anywhere else where housekeeping looks out for their regulars in this way. The front desk staff: To a person they are kind, considerate and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make sure everything is the way you want it. We are often greeted by name by Toni, Chris, Andy, Brittany, Taylor, Stephanie (who we will miss) Michelle and Andy. Toni is the assistant General Manager and you can see how much she cares. She is a welcome addition. Brian Carpenter: I do not think the hotel realizes what a gem they have in this man. He is the second shift manager, but does so much more. We miss him on days when he is off. He genuinely cares about his staff and his guests. You can see in the way he carries himself how he wants everyone’s experience to be perfect. He has such pride in the hotel and strives for perfection not just from his staff but from himself. The Four Seasons would be lucky to find one like him. He brightens our day with a warm welcome and is indispensable to the operation. We had a problem redeeming an e-certificate for a free night and we called the 800 number for Club Carlson. They were not helpful so we called Brian at the hotel looking for guidance, not looking for him to solve the problem. Well solve it he did! He dogged corporate to get the issue fixed and succeeded, keeping us in the loop through apologetic e-mails (apologetic because it was not already fixed.) I cannot remember the last time I saw this type of care from a hotel employee. Words cannot describe how much having him here means to us. We hope he never leaves! This is our home away from home. We stay as often as we can and when it is time to go, we hate to leave.StayedAugust 2017Review collected in partnership with this hotel
