    Mr wife and I stay at the Rad every time we go "up-coast" from our hectic lives in Miami. The staff are the most welcoming people ever and the location can't be beat...Waves right behind the hotel and some of he best surf breaks in the state are all within several miles...Sitting on our balcony for the sun rises are sweet and the amenities including the pool are top notch...Love the beds and that all rooms are basically suites...upgrade to get the whirlpool tubs...your honey will thank you!

    I was there on business and the hotel was in a great location with a lot of restaurants in the area. Was right on the beach.The staff was excellent. Rooms were clean and all have a great view of the ocean.

    The room had been severely affected by Hurricane Irma which was understandable but the lack of exterior cleanliness was repulsive. There was trash (including cigarette butts, beer bottles/cans and etc.) scatted all over the dunes, poolside and deck. There was a wedding on Saturday which left cigarette butts and drink cups on the second floor exit/deck and bar/pool side everywhere that were not picked up until Monday morning around 09:00. I had mentioned the mess to one of the hotel workers and he said he would pass it along to management. The same employee was installing damaged lighting along the poolside wall on Tuesday, during this time he took a break and smoked a cigarette and once done flicked it on the ground. Just seems there is a lack of pride in the hotel from the staff. I also recommend replacing the bark in the landscaping around the pool/hot tub with rocks. The wind blew the bark and filled the pool and hot tub with bark and also trash from the pool side bar. We have been at this hotel back in 2011 and it was awesome, but it needs to be renovated it needs some work. I expected more for $270 a night, I hope my money goes to the much needed renovation.
