The location is fantastic, staff is friendly, rooms are nice and modern. Nothing to complain about. Can really recommend it to anyone that want to be in Manhattan in the middle of things.StayedAugust 2018August 14, 2018Micael, Thank you for leaving such a wonderful review of your stay on TripAdvisor. The location is absolutely perfect for us because we come to the city primarily to see live theater and eat at places like Le Bernardin...and we can walk to both. The hotel is also close to terrific shopping, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central (as well as other subway/bus stops). It is also very quiet. We've never heard any of our neighbors, and I really like the idea of a smaller boutique hotel where the staff gets to know us during the week. The area is also full of great casual places to eat, like the Pret a Manger almost next door, the Strip House for steaks on 44th, and DB Bistro Moderne around the corner on 44th, one of our go to places to eat. The rooms are fairly comfortable, though the mattresses are miserably hard and need an upgrade. The housekeeping was terrific and responsive, and all of the staff were quick to help when they could. We were in NYC during a heat wave, and the first night our room temp wouldn't go below 80--but the hotel moved us the next morning to a different floor and we were fine after that.StayedAugust 2018
