Things to Do in Bangkok
Within a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, you’ll find yourself on Sukhumvit Road, a vibrant cavalcade of shopping, dining and nightlife. Save time to visit these other Bangkok highlights:
Siam Paragon – One of the premier shopping venues in Bangkok, this mall also includes a bowling alley, an IMAX theatre and an aquarium, just six and a half kilometres from the hotel.
Jim Thompson House – About seven kilometres away, this museum comprises the extensive Asian art collection and the beautiful house and grounds that belonged to American silk trader Jim Thompson, who mysteriously disappeared in 1967.
The Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew) – Visit Wat Phra Kaew, a breathtaking Buddhist temple nine kilometres from the hotel, to see the famous Emerald Buddha. The statue stands approximately 66 centimetres tall, carved from a single piece of jade. Because long sleeves and pants are required to enter the shrine, make sure to bring appropriate clothing.
