    Had to stay overnight on the way to JFK. Great hotel with clean guestrooms and nice staff... had breakfast in the restaurant, which was good too... Took the transportation shuttle from the reception area and went right to my JFK terminal. I would recommend this hotel when in the area

    Initial arrival was confusing and not welcoming. Shuttles were given preference. We were ask to move our car while unloading. Check-in was good. Room was decent, bathroom was not the cleanest and at night the spotlights shown directly in the window and the curtains did not close all the way. The restaurant experience was awful. We were ask to leave while we were still eating to accommodate a flight that had been canceled. Beverages were in paper cups, food quality was poor, two menus were given but not explained. Valet parking was slow, unresponsive, and left our car running for twenty-five minutes - we had to go down and ask them to turn it off. Many non-guest were allowed to walk around the vehicles, roam the parking lot, and go through the garbage on the property. There was overcrowding - we did not feel safe moving around the property with our young children.
