Nice look back in time. Beautiful paintings of railroad views. Food and drinks good. Staff is friendly. The bad: Hotel not maintained at expected standards. I got stuck in elevator. Hotel maintenance said, "it happens all the time." Pin in bathroom door hinge was removed so door stayed ajar and scraped the floor. How does this happen when staff is in room daily? Staff could not explain extra charges on my bill. We are very proud of our sensational guest room renovations over the past year, and even the new carpeting on our first floor and Meeting and Event space that finalized this past week. We have a sensational staff and wonderful commitment to the restoration of this grand station and to service and hospitality excellence. I certainly do apologize that out bellman was assisting another guest upon your check in. They are a wonderful crew and I wish our staff made you aware we would have taken your bags to your room upon his brief return. Our elevators are very well maintained by Schindler Elevator Corporation and are held to a very rigorous federal standard passing all inspections. I apologize for your experience. Unfortunately we cannot assist or control what Online Travel Agencies are ultimately charging for your accommodations through us as they all have their own business models and pricing practices. We would always recommend you place your reservations through the Radisson.com brand website for our Best Rate Guarantee.
