- genarchoSurrey, Canada“Hotel Marred by Restaurant's Failings review by genarcho from Surrey, Canada”ReviewedNovember 13, 2017Trip type:Friends getawayI stayed at the Radisson from November 9 to November 12. The main issue with the hotel isn't really the hotel itself, but the Restaurant. The menu had been recently changed, I was told later, so the rooms had the wrong menu for room service. While Breakfast was fine, the first day there was a lack of an entire menu item, which understandably made some of my group upset. Another day, at Supper, the food came back with way too much salt. As a chef myself, I can attribute the poor preparation and quality of food to a generally inexperienced crew that had just received a new menu and wasn't properly trained on how to cook the food. When you consider booking this hotel, which besides the Restaurant is quite good, consider the price and ignore the Restaurant completely, and see if it's worth it.StayedNovember 2017Review collected in partnership with this hotelNovember 20, 2017Thank you for reaching out to us. - 320wandatChicago, United States“Clean hotel, good location review by 320wandat from Chicago, United States”ReviewedNovember 06, 2017Trip type:Friends getawayFriendly staff, clean rooms. Double beds so sleeping for 2 in a bed can be cramped, location was great as it is right in front of the RIT campus, close to mall, shopping and good restaurants. 5 min from Rochester Airport, 40 min from Buffalo Airport. Restaurant onsite was very average. Dogs allowed in hotel.StayedNovember 2017Review collected in partnership with this hotelNovember 08, 2017Thanks for staying with us with your furry friend. Upon your next stay, you'll be delighted with the revamped menus in our restaurant put together by Chef Steve.
- johnnS8077LX“Would Not Stay Again review by johnnS8077LX”ReviewedNovember 05, 2017Trip type:Friends getawayStayed with a group. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Mattresses were hard and sloped to 1 side. very basic rooms, but rates were fairly expensive for the area. I've paid the same rate for hotels in MUCH nicer areas. Food at the breakfast was not great. Local diners are much better for half the price. Hotel was noisy at night and didn't die down until midnight. Not at all pleased with stayStayedNovember 2017Review collected in partnership with this hotelNovember 08, 2017Hi John, I apologize you didn't have a restful night due to lopsided bed and the noise due to the hockey teams over the weekend. If we had known while you were with us, we would have changed you to a quieter location in the hotel and had maintenance look at the bed. We try to keep the teams together on the floors away from other guests but when the hotel is full, it tends to be challenging. I believe the rates at our hotel are very competitive, though not the lowest in Rochester such as the economy hotels. I urge you to try the new menu at our restaurant which features some delectable entrees by our culinary team.
- Kristen GLatham“Radisson @ RIT review by Kristen G from Latham”ReviewedOctober 29, 2017Trip type:Solo travelClose proximity to RIT, U of R, shopping and 15 minutes to downtown Rochester. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in and check out very fast. Rooms and common areas clean. Room was spacious, quiet and dark- no light leaks! Great value for the priceStayedOctober 2017Review collected in partnership with this hotelNovember 20, 2017Thank you for the sharing your feedback. We are honored to be your host each time you visit Rochester and RIT.
