    Management and staff not informative to guess ,no micro wave ,coffee maker don't work ,telephone in the room not in service. Meal that should be hot is not its very cold suck as tea etc ,it was a very bad place to stay for the first time in Barbados

    Apart from the hotel having a beautiful beach front. Thats about all it has going for it. The rooms are terribly our of date. And over priced. To be honest for a Radisson it was a disgrace!! Our children were put in a room (507) where the bathroom had to be scrubbed due to mould. The previous guest complained and were moved. It was only by coincidence that my wife spoke to them in the lift. Breakfast became a chore. You were forever asking. For plates, bowls, cups, cereal, bacon, sausages, fruit to be replenished. You would ask for tea or coffee. Again that took an eternity. It was nothing to ask 3 or 4 times for things. Margaret that made the omelettes at breakfast was very helpful in regards to hurrying staff along replenishing hot food. The boys behind the bar were also very friendly and good for a laugh. The reception staff were not informed by their supervisors of happenings. We were supposed to received breakfast vouchers. Reception staff knew nothing about them. It was until one of our party complained we received them. The washing machines on the 3rd and 5th floor continually broke down. I thought it was a disgrace, that one morning a man had drowned under the pier where guest had meals. Rather than close this area and suspend breakfast. They continued serving breakfast. While in full view of the hotel guests, the mans body was pulled ashore in full view of guests including children. On checking out they had items on our bill that we never ordered or received. The receptionist on checking informed me it was a typing error!!

It was an extremely unfortunate situation which transpired on a public beach in proximity to our property which understandably made both our guests and staff alike, uncomfortable.
