“Radisson Quality totaly absent in this Hotel”

The hotel gas been remodeled, the location is very good, near the airport and with restaurants close to the facility; unfortunately the staff does not belong to the Radisson quality standard; noise, lack of interest to solve Customer's minimum service needs, need to call front desk and get info, good luck sometimes it seems everybody is out, 10 or more minutes calling and no answer; no business center, high parking charges and cero attention providing updated invoice two weeks after departure. There are other options, do not take the risk.

    “Less than expected”

I stayed there with a team, so I did not really choose to do the research needed to see what other options are available, but I was disappointed. I will give details below. First- when I made the reservation, I was told "All rooms have been refurbished to suites, and include two queen beds and a sofabed." I know all are not queen beds, but that is what I asked for - two queens with a sofabed, so I made the reservation. My room, 408 was not a suite (separate bedroom), and did not include a sofabed, both items I was assured would be given to me. Second - Room 408 is directly across for the elevator bank, which each time the doors opened on the 4th or 5th floor, made three VERY LOUD thumps. I did not sleep the first evening, but I will know for my next hotel stay to ask to be situated away from the elevator banks. I did call upon arrival, but was told there were no rooms with sofabeds available and to check later Thursday night if one could be had the next day. I asked if a sofabed could be moved to my room and was told no. My other guest then had to make other arrangements for the evening - not cool. Third - I was not called and informed that a SUITE with a sofabed had become available on Friday. After waiting at the desk, I was begrudgingly handed to key to room 1011 and was told to go see if it was acceptable, and if so, to move my stuff from 408 to 1011. After I finally plugged in the AC and got the room to cool off, I went myself to the lobby to obtain a cart, and moved two persons worth of luggage and hockey equipment to room 1011 by myself. There was not a call to offer assistance. Kind of torqued me off. Room 1011 turned out to be comfortable and what I expected from the beginning. I do not know why a room with the accommodations I was promised was not given to me upon my arrival. I am also pretty certain that when I called t make my reservation that I was told complimentary breakfast was included as part of the HNA rate for players. There was no complimentary breakfast, another disappointment. I was very surprised to hear that the facility did not include a washer and dryer for guests. We had a lot of sweaty clothes that should have been washed soonest, but had to wait until I returned home. I was told there is a send out service, but that is not convenient if the clothes needed to be worn for games the next day. Customer Service - I did not get a sense the there was a high level of concern for the guests, i.e., not offering to help me move clothes and equipment to the new room. Internet is NOT AVAILABLE in room 1011, probably because it is a corner room. Very inconvenient to have to travel to the lobby when I wanted to use Internet. Saturday and Sunday were the two hottest days in Toronto to date. It is disappointing that the hotel did not have a pool.
