Explore Udaipur’s beautiful lakes, temples and palaces

  • Fateh Sagar Lake (4.6 km)
    Within the City of Lakes, Fateh Sagar Lake is arguably the most prominent. Take in lovely views of rolling hills and Maharana Pratap Memorial as you ride a boat to Nehru Park, which sits on an island in the middle of the lake.
  • Lake Pichola (4.7 km)
    This 14th-century man-made lake is famous for the palaces and temples that overlook it, including City Palace. You can take a leisurely boat ride to Jagmandir Island to visit the stunning Jagmandir palace or to Jagniwas Island to see Jagniwas Palace.

    This wildlife sanctuary and zoo is home to panthers, monkeys, alligators, ostriches and more. Be sure to stop by the Monsoon Palace, which offers stunning panoramic views of the city.
