Canadian Museum for Human RightsExperience an inspirational tour at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights
Just a one-kilometre walk from the Radisson in downtown Winnipeg, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) is dedicated to educating people about human rights around the world. Situated in The Forks Market, this museum consists of 10 core galleries that explore the struggles, tragedies and victories of human rights, from Canadian internment during WWII to the Holocaust and more recent genocides.
Prepare to be inspired by documents that describe the heroic journeys of courageous men and women, and watch those stories come to life via interactive and multimedia exhibits. Check the museum’s calendar for events and concerts, and visit the boutique, where you can find souvenirs and memorabilia.
